The Vacancy

An opportunity has arisen to join our, ever expanding, Workshop Pro Sales team. Alliance Automotive Group are looking to fulfil the new and exciting position of Tool Van Sales Specialist, covering North of the UK. The ideal candidate will be based around the M62 corridor. You will take ownership of the van, traveling to different sites, and the daily running of the vehicle. You will be selling Carlyle Workshop branded equipment, tools that have a large market presence and following in the United Sates, and that we have recently launched in the UK. You will work with a sales manager to achieve sales targets and bonuses. If you believe you have the relevant experience and are up for the challenge, this position could be for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring highest levels of customer service are delivered, contributing to industry leading levels of customer satisfaction
  • Familiarity with all current promotional offers and tooling range brochures essential
  • Overseeing the sales process from enquiry to order; effective communication is key
  • Delivering tool sales growth across your territory; liaising with customers, our branch network, local management team and procurement
  • Attending Trade Shows, Regional Sales Meetings and exhibitions as required
  • Attending BTCC events across the UK to promote awareness of the brand
  • Visiting the NAPA network of stores to build relationships with colleagues

Essential Requirements;

  • Driving License
  • Excellent communication, customer service and sales skills
  • The ability to build strong working relationships
  • The ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced working environment
  • Excellent organisational, diary planning, IT & time management skills
  • Previous experience in business development, tool van sales, workshop tooling solutions, and understanding of key product ranges will be of distinct benefit this will allow you to integrate with our customers easier
