Warehouse Manager

Main Purpose of Role:

To safely, accurately and appropriately pack batteries of various sizes into appropriately sized containers.

Key Tasks:

- Move batteries of varying weight onto workbench

- Appropriately prepare battery for packing, identifying if the battery needs to be plugged

- Use Display Screen Equipment to process the packing of batteries

- Create cardboard boxes and pack batteries into these boxes

- Use sharp utilities to appropriately pack batteries

- Use appropriate equipment to move batteries to other packers

- Use barcodes to track batteries if needed

- Provider other packers with equipment when necessary

- Treat merchandise with care and respect at all times

- Work collaboratively with and support other members of staff when necessary

- Keep workspaces clean and tidy

- Use equipment provided appropriately

- Follow Health and Safety Guidance at all times

- Follow all of Tayna Ltd.’s policies and procedures at all times

An ideal candidate should have

-supervisor/manager experience minimum 1 year

-FLT (counterbalance) experience desirable  

This is a Saturday to Wednesday shift working the following hours

Saturday 8:30-17.00

Sunday 12:30-21.00

Monday 12.00-20.00

Tuesday 12.00-20.00

Wednesday 12.00-8.00
