Position Summary:
The Garage Network Business Development Manager is responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the garage network by identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new garages, maintaining strong relationships with existing partners, and ensuring the network delivers value to both the business and its members. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of the automotive aftermarket industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in business development or sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and recruit new garages to join the network, ensuring alignment with company standards and strategic goals.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective garages to grow the network in targeted areas.
- Act as the primary point of contact for garages within the network, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or challenges.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with garage owners and managers to foster loyalty and engagement.
- Regularly visit network garages to provide support, gather feedback, and promote new products or services.
- Provide advice, training, and support to garages to help them improve their operations and profitability.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver marketing, training, and promotional initiatives tailored to the network's needs.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance and address any issues promptly.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and meetings to promote the garage network and build relationships.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of the automotive aftermarket industry, including garages, parts suppliers, and related services.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly.
