Job Title: Workshop Pro Diagnostics Specialist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Vehicle Diagnostics Specialist to join our dynamic team. This field-based role involves visiting account holders within an assigned territory, collaborating closely with the local network to promote and demonstrate advanced vehicle diagnostic equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of modern vehicle diagnostics, including complex systems such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and Secure Gateway technologies, providing expert guidance and tailored solutions to our customers while driving company sales.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the company’s Diagnostic Equipment Sales Van to visit and engage with customers across the assigned territory.
  • Work alongside local sales managers to identify sales opportunities and deepen customer relationships.
  • Conduct in-depth demonstrations of vehicle diagnostic equipment, highlighting the capabilities related to modern diagnostics, including ADAS and Secure Gateway systems.
  • Provide expert advice and solutions to customers, helping them navigate the complexities of vehicle diagnostics.
  • Generate sales by identifying customer needs and promoting appropriate products and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and territory coverage.
  • Stay current with advancements in vehicle diagnostic technologies and industry trends.
  • Ensure the sales van is well-stocked, organised, and maintained.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in automotive diagnostics, sales, or a related technical field, a distinct advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of modern vehicle diagnostic systems, particularly ADAS and Secure Gateway technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to cover assigned territories.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Comfort working in a field-based sales environment, often on the road.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and customer-oriented mindset.
